Booking & Planning Your StayWhat payment methods are accepted?An initial deposit of 30% is due within 4 days of booking your stay. The remaining 70% balance is due 6 weeks before your occupancy and must be paid by Visa, Mastercard, Venmo, Wise, or money wire. All bookings made within 60 days of arrival must be paid in full at the time of confirmation. Do we need travel insurance?We do not sell or provide travel insurance; it is highly recommended to have. Travel insurance can help protect against unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellations, interruptions, or medical emergencies. If you book using Visa or Mastercard, you may also wish to check whether your credit card includes travel insurance coverage. What is the cancellation policy?If you need to cancel, you may postpone your reservation up to 30 days before your arrival and transfer the full value of your payment to new dates at the same property, subject to availability. No date-change fee applies. Payments are non-refundable once processed, except in the event that Huatulco is officially closed to tourism by government order during your reservation dates, in which case a full refund would be issued. If third-party travel insurance is not purchased, our standard cancellation policy applies. Are price rates quoted in USD, CAD, or Mexican Pesos?Rates on HuatulcoViews.com are displayed in U.S. dollars (USD) unless a Mexican peso (MXN) conversion is clearly noted. The applicable currency is always shown before you confirm your reservation. If you have questions about pricing or currency, our team is available to assist before you book. What is the pet policy?No pets are allowed; this policy must be respected. Restrictions may be due to owner and tenant allergies, property care considerations, neighbors, or building location regulations. During your StayWho do I contact if I need help?Once your reservation is completed, you’ll receive clear contact details for every part of your stay — including the local property management team's contact information for anything related to the property, and a general WhatsApp contact for all other questions. If you’re still planning your trip, you’re welcome to contact us using our website email form Check-In & Check-Out TimesCheck-in starts at 2:00 PM Property & Condo AccessThe unit uses a digital entry lock. Prior to your arrival, you'll receive clear access instructions, including a unique entry code. Your names and stay dates will be provided to the on-duty property security guards. They will allow access to the property from the main driveway gate. Once on site, you will meet up with the property manager, who will answer any other questions and provide a key to the private beach access gate What housekeeping services are includedThis property includes professional housekeeping before your arrival and then after departure. Is the water drinkable?You are encouraged to purchase bottled drinking water from the nearby convenience store of your choice. There is a filter on the refrigerator's water dispenser.
Can I have additional guests visit during my stay?...We understand that spending time with friends and family is part of a vacation. If you anticipate hosting additional guests, please ensure the property’s maximum occupancy accommodates your full group. All overnight guests must be registered and count toward the property’s maximum occupancy. Maximum occupancy for this unit is four (4) people. Please see our terms and conditions or contact us for guidance. Do cell phones work in Huatulco?Yes. Cell phone service is available through the major cell phone providers in Huatulco. Generally, it is reliable and has good coverage in town and in most of the surrounding areas. (Services may vary by phone carrier and is out of our control) What can I expect to find at the property?The property is thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen (with the normally needed utensils and cookware), linens and bath towels, beach towels, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and comfortable indoor and outdoor living spaces. There are 3 televisions. Starter toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided for your arrival. The Niru Property has community amenities such as pools, pool chairs, BBQs, exercise room, pickleball court. Please check out the property description for other features. |
Getting Here and Around TownHow do we get to Huatulco, Mexico?Huatulco is served by Huatulco International Airport (HUX), with direct seasonal flights from select cities in Canada and the United States, and year-round connections via Mexico City by several airlines (AeroMexico, Volaris, Viva and others). The airport is modern, compact, and easy to navigate. How do I get from the Airport to the property?Private airport transportation can be arranged directly to the property at the airport. This shuttle service is available to everyone for a fee. As you exit the airport arrival building, on the right is the shuttle customer service window. You can purchase a private or a shared shuttle van. When they ask for your destination, let them know you are staying at the "Niru Casitas (condos) in Santa Cruz," and they will know where to take you. When you arrive at the property, they will have to give your name to the guard for access. Then they should drive you up the hill, near the pickleball court. From there, it is a walk up to the main buildings. There is an elevator if you don't wish to use the stairs. The unit is on the 2nd floor. (Really the third floor, as in Mexico they do not start with 1 being the ground floor) Do I need to rent a car in Huatulco?Renting a car is optional. Many people rely on the public taxis services. You can be picked up at the guard station or if you want it's a short walk down to the town courtyard (about 3 minutes). In the courtyard, you can catch a taxi or sign up for a water and/or land tour. A rental car may be helpful if you plan to explore the beaches and villages independently. Ask our property manager for advice when creating your planned adventures. Taxis and BusesTaxis are everywhere and widely available at the airport, in town, near beaches, and at restaurants. Fares are typically fixed by zone and affordable. Most taxis accept cash, and small bills are helpful. The locals that we have talked to are recommending that we do not tip as a general rule for taxis. Their fees are predetermined by the local authority.
