Maguey Bay

This beach has several restaurants where you can eat right on the beach. The staff can be a little aggressive in trying to sell their services. The food is good and the prices are average for a tourist area. I have seen many people bring their own food and picnic on the beach away from the restaurants. This beach has two distinct characteristics. The west side is more exposed to the ocean and tends to have larger waves that can sometimes be strong. On the Eastern side (bay area) the waves are smaller and you can snorkel in this area. This beach tends to get more busy as the day goes on.
